Terms & Conditions
Last updated: June 2026
1. Scope
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") apply to all contracts, consultations, and services concluded between bookkeeping-greece.com (a brand of Triple Caramel Marketing LTD, hereinafter "we" or "us") and the client ("Client" or "you"). Deviating conditions of the Client are not recognized unless we expressly agree to them in writing.
2. Subject Matter and Scope of Services
We provide ongoing bookkeeping and accounting services for freelancers and companies in Greece. Our scope includes monthly bookkeeping and myDATA transmission, VAT declarations, annual tax returns, payroll where agreed, correspondence with the Greek tax authority (AADE), and deadline monitoring.
Important disclaimer regarding legal and tax advice:
We expressly do not provide legal advice. Accounting and tax filing services are performed by our state-certified Greek accountant (Economic Chamber of Greece, License 0137209). Any legal or notarial matters are handled by independent professionals licensed in Greece, to whom we refer; we are not liable for incorrect information provided by such third parties.
3. Formation of Contract
The initial consultation (video call or messaging) is free and non-binding. A binding contract is only formed once we present the Client with a concrete offer after that consultation, and the Client accepts this offer in writing (email or messaging is sufficient).
4. Client's Duty to Cooperate
Bookkeeping depends on timely input from the Client. The Client undertakes to provide all records required for the filings (e.g. sales and purchase invoices, bank statements, receipts, access credentials and the required authorization) truthfully, completely, and on time. Statutory filing deadlines are set by the Greek authorities; where records reach us too late to meet a deadline, resulting surcharges or fines are not our responsibility.
5. Fees and Payment Terms
The prices agreed in the respective individual offer apply. All prices are plus statutory VAT where applicable.
- Onboarding fee (one-off): Where agreed for taking over existing records from a previous accountant, due upon conclusion of contract and payable in advance.
- Monthly fee: The agreed monthly fee for ongoing bookkeeping, VAT declarations, the annual tax return and deadline monitoring is invoiced in advance on the 1st of each calendar month.
Third-party costs (e.g. government fees, registration fees, notary costs) are not included in our fee and must be paid by the Client directly to the relevant body, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
6. Warranty and Liability
We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence. For simple negligence, we are only liable for breach of a material contractual obligation, and liability is then limited to the foreseeable damage typical of the contract. We expressly give no guarantee for the outcome of decisions made by the Greek authorities (e.g. assessments, audits, recognition of expenses), as these are made by third parties over which we have no final influence.
7. Term and Termination
Monthly bookkeeping contracts are concluded for an indefinite period and may be terminated by either party with 30 days' notice to the end of the month, in writing. On termination we hand over your records and, where required, cooperate with the handover to your next accountant. The right to extraordinary termination for good cause remains unaffected.
8. Final Provisions
Should individual provisions of these Terms be or become invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions remains unaffected.
